, started the Herold China and Pottery Company in 1910 on the site of a glassworks owned by Adolph Coors, the founder of the Coors brewery.
this batter bowl is 9 3/4" from tip of spout to edge of handle holds 3.5 pints decorated with embossed yellow rose buds the glaze is dark red/ burgundy- see my other auctions for another piece of this great pottery made in the 1930's
