Vintage 1962 Promo 3 In 1 Model Kit 1932 Ford Victoria Customizing Kit In Box. Some of the pieces are not attached to the sheets. One end of the box is not attached but included. Comes with the original mailing box from Ford Motor Company. Can be assembled as stock, custom or competition.

Issued in 1962 from the famous Troy, Michigan plant this kit was a continuation of the Auto Dealer Promotional program that actually gave birth to our hobby. Legend has it that Budd Anderson, the Kat from AMT, had the idea that if you offered disassembled promos as educational toys, you might have a hit. This kit came a few years after Budd's idea came to fruition as the automotive model kit hobby had already evolved quite well by 1962. Kits now had very detailed and authentic engines and chassis, as well as a host of customizing parts that were popular with real car hot rodders of the day.
