The AMST36BU1400 is a 3.0 TON multi-position air handler. Sometimes when sold as part of a bundle the air handler will be a higher capacity than the condenser. This is by design to achieve the best overall efficiency.
Goodman's AMST series of air handler is an mid-grade air handler designed for low to mid efficiency systems.
Goodman's AMST36BU1400 uses a multi-speed EEM blower motor and contains both the coil and blower motor in a single cabinet. This makes for easier installation and lower installation costs. These units are compatible with R-410a refrigerant and has a factory-installed thermal expansion valve for both cooling and heat pump applications.
These units feature an all-aluminum evaporator coil which is designed for efficient heat transfer and durable performance and corrosion resistance from rust.
These units use the HKSC/HKSX series of heat kits, available for purchase separately.
Warranty:
The AMST36BU1400 is backed by Goodman's 10 year parts warranty so long as it is registered online through Goodman within 60 days of installation. The installer must adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

It is your responsibility at the time of delivery to inspect the merchandise prior to signing for your shipment. If the packaging looks damaged do not sign for the delivery until the item is inspected. If it does not pass your inspection, tell the delivery company that you cannot accept it. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the Bill of Lading and refuse the shipment. Once you sign for the package you accept full responsibility. You have up to 48 hours to contact us either by phone or email to let us know if something is damaged.
