Floral Corner Leather Emboss Plate 5 5/8" by 3"

Description

This corner pattern is balanced out so it will work on any of the corners or all of the corners of a project, it will work right or left, top or bottom.  It has a blank circle in the design that can be used to put a figure, letters, brands, or could be left blank.  We show some samples showing this used on a secretary, notebook, wallet and scrapbook but it would work on a lot of other applications.  It could work as a stand alone or to finish out a tooled or stamped pattern or as you can tell by one of the pictures it's real good to finish out the corners of a border rolled pattern.  The leather samples are obviously not part of the auction, just the emboss plate.
This plate measures 5 5/8" from point to paint by 3" across
and is
made of a high impact fiberglass reinforced polyurethane.  We originally started making these plates to use on short runs where we only needed a fe
w hundred impressions BUT we soon discovered that they were outlasting any of the plates made of printers metal and have much greater detail than most cast metal plates.
The samples were made using a 12 ton hydraulic shop press which is more than sufficient for plates of this size or even slightly larger.
This plate is not a hammer stamp and should be pressed in using a hydraulic press, clicker press, or a shop press like we do but the pressure plate must cover the entire top of the plate or if you are using a ram press a heavy piece of flat steel sufficient to cover the entire top of the emboss plate will be necessary.
