    Description

    Carrier FX4D Comfort Series 2.5 TON Multi-Position Air Handler Coil FX4DNF031.
    Missing Thermal Exchange Valve (EA36YP273).
    The TXV failed on our 1-year old air handler at the beginning of August, but that part was on back order for an estimated 6-month minimum. Our only option was to purchase an entirely new air handler unit so our AC tech could remove the TXV from it and replace our broken one. Now we’re stuck with a brand new air handler unit (minus TXV) that we have no use or room for. Great for parts, or if you can locate a TXV for it, you’ve got a brand new unit ready to go.
