For your consideration is this stunning figurine of a mother sparrow feeding her baby.
The name of this piece is “Mother Sparrow”.
It was made by Bing & Grondahl of Denmark and is item number #1869.
It was decorated by BJ.
The birds are 4 3/8” tall and 5 7/8” long.
This has the green Bing & Grondahl three castle mark, blue B&G, 1869-item number and the decorator initials BJ.
There are no lines or scratches through the mark.
This is a truly stunning piece.
It is in fine condition with no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs.
I checked the tail feathers and wings closely and there are indeed no nicks or chips.
