The recipe starts with two cans of Briess CBW® Porter base extract partnered with pre-crushed Caramel 90L, Carabrown® and Dark Chocolate steeping grains.  A muslim bag is included to for the grains.  This year the selected hop additions are 2oz of Brewer's Gold and an ounce of Northern Brewer, providing a mild balance between bitter and sweet.  This Porter is fermented with the included Danstar Nottingham premium yeast to 5-5.5% ABV.  Some common around the house brewing equipment is required, besides a primary fermenting bucket you need a large kitchen stock pot and a spoon!

he time is now to start your Robust Porter - it does require two weeks in the bottle to carbonate and condition.  If you start this weekend you will have it ready in 3 weeks.  Ships from stock and we will fire it out to you right away via FEDEX or Priortitty Mail.  If you buy it by Wednesday there is a good chance you will have it for the weekend, and our midsouth and Midwest customers will have it Friday Night!
