    The 1954 Blue Ribbon Tall Boy issue is the most prized of the CFL sets.  Followup with the original collectors who bought the cards when they were kids has estabished this set was issued in the Blue Ribbon Milk Chocolate candy bars and not the tea boxes.  This was the first card set to use full color images. The images while posed are for the most part very attractive and add greatly to the appeal of the cards. The cards are difficult to find in any condition.
    The cards being offered for this tough set are in lower grade with the majority displaying soft corners, staining or ink marks on the fronts.  The backs are in generally good condition.  There are a few higher grade cards as well. These are mostly filler cards for a set being built. Check the images for the cards you are purchasing to determine condition.
