    Vintage 1947 BEOWULF POLL submission sheet. 8 1/2 x 11, one page printed on both sides. Good condition only. On old style mimeograph paper which gets fragile with age. I have it in a plastic bag so that it can easily be examined front and back without removing it from the plastic.
    Front page (above) outlines the rules of the poll and the reverse side (shown below) lists the authors to select the Best Works of and it has been partially filled in selecting the works of Lovecraft, Weinbaum, Van Vogt, Heinlein and H.G. Wells. Although this was among Forry's papers I don't think that he's the one who filled it out because where it says years reading STF the number 14 is written, which would mean the person started reading SF in 1933. Ray Bradbury was 13 in 1933 but that is just a guess as the hand writing is not identified.
